To order a custom Highland Strings instrument, I require a deposit to establish your place in my production schedule. The deposit helps offset the time and costs involved in materials procurement. Deposits required are as follows:
Your deposit is fully refundable until the actual commencement of your build. I currently accept cash, personal check, certified check, Paypal, and Google Checkout.
All Highland instruments come with a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. Any defects in craftsmanship or materials will be repaired by Highland Strings at no charge to the customer. This does not cover damage due to normal wear, seasonal movement, neglect, or abuse. The category of any warranty work will only be established upon my physical inspection of the instrument in question. The owner of the instrument is responsible for delivering said instrument to Highland Strings including the payment of any applicable shipping fees. If the cause of said damage is determined to be negligence on my part, shipping expenses may be reimbursed or split with the instruments owner. All non-warranty repair work or modifications will receive a 10% discount from standard rates.
All customers using Highland Strings to repair or modify a Highland Instrument will receive a 10% discount.
